Homeschool 101 Consultation

Perfect for those new to homeschooling, this session walks you through the basics: legal requirements, popular educational approaches, scheduling ideas, and creating a home learning environment tailored to your family’s lifestyle. Gain the foundational knowledge you need to homeschool with confidence. Cost: $45 for a one-hour conversation, in person or virtually.

Curriculum Consultation

We’ll meet with you and your child(ren) to review your current curriculum and explore options that match their learning style and academic needs. Each child receives a learning styles assessment and (optional) academic placement exam. We’ll discuss curriculum types, specific programs, teaching methods, daily routines, and your long-term goals. After the consultation, you’ll receive a detailed summary that includes learning style results, personalized curriculum recommendations, web links, pricing, and ordering information.  Cost: $150 for the first child; $50 for each additional child (Includes assessments and individualized resources for each child.)

 

“Homeschool Newbies” Full-Service Consultation

Designed for families preparing to homeschool for the first time, this comprehensive package includes everything in the Curriculum Consultation, plus:

• Customized schedule planning (co-ops, extracurriculars, learning time, work, field trips, etc..)

• Alignment of subject learning (what you teach, when you teach it, and how many weeks)

• Guidance on maximizing UA/PEP scholarship funds

• Recommendations for developmentally appropriate manipulatives and learning materials (and what to avoid)

• Optional in-home setup consultation for Jacksonville, FL families

We will meet in-person or virtually a few times so that I have a thorough understanding of your goals and limitations. I'll provide written follow-ups and resources. You’ll walk away with a ready-to-launch homeschool plan and greater peace of mind. Cost: Starts at $225; $50 for each additional child

 

“Pros & Cons of Homeschooling” Clarity Session

Are you unsure if homeschooling is the right fit for your child or family? In this honest and pressure-free session, we’ll explore the realities of homeschooling from multiple perspectives. The beauty of homeschool (or any form of 'education', really) is that you can always change your mind. The homeschool options are endless: you can plan it all yourself, outsource to other professionals, select a grab and go curriculum, attend a part-time school, travel the world with other homeschool families (yes, hubs are a thing)-- the possibilities are endless! As a former public and private teacher, I can walk you through the transition between traditional and homeschool because sometimes life changes and you might return to traditional school-- and this requires proper curriculum selection for elementary and high school grades. We can plan that out too. Or after exploring all the options, you might decide that this isn't right for your family at this stage. That's okay too. We will do this together.  Together, we’ll discuss your child's learning needs and personality, your famliy's availability, goals, and challenges, real-life logistics of home education, and how homeschooling compares with traditional school options. By the end of our session, you'll have a clearer picture of whether homeschooling is a good fit for your family—and what your next steps could be. Cost: $75 (90 minute session)
